JG Craig Information

J.G CRAIG UNDER 15 TURF COMPETITION

Each year the Victorian Sub-District Cricket Association runs the J.G Craig Shield Competition (formerly RM Hatch Competition). This is an Under 15 Turf Competition and is recognised as the elite Under 15 Competition in the State. The competition is played in January each year on professionally prepared turf wickets and consists of the 28 Sub-District Cricket Clubs. To be eligible to play you must be under the age of 15 as of the 1st September 2017 (birth date between 2 Sep 2002 and 1 Sep 2003) and be available to play in the period between January 9 and January 30 2018.

We encourage the best young junior talent from the Taylors Lakes and surrounding suburbs to come along and try out for inclusion in the J.G Craig Shield Under 15 Competition squad. This is an opportunity for the best junior cricketers to play turf cricket against the very best juniors in the State.

The Committee, coaching panel, members and current players at Taylors Lakes Cricket Club look forward to meeting with all interested junior players and their families in October.

Players interested in trying out for the squad should fill-out the nomination form by either selecting the form from the menu or clicking here.
