Kris McMullin

Senior Director of Cricket

Kris brings a wealth of knowledge and a passion for the Taylors Lakes Cricket Club to everything he does. With over 350 games experience at Taylors Lakes alone, and previous stints as the clubs head coach, he will assist the coaching team in striving for higher quality performances, and drive a professional setting both on and off the field. Kris is also responsible for player welfare, addressing any queries and concerns from all players.

Aamir Raza

Senior Head Coach

Hailing from the UK, Raza (preferred name) joins TLCC for his third season as a player and first as a coach. After a Covid-19 enforced hiatus after his first season with us in 2019/20, he came back with flying colours in 2022/23 to take out our First XI club champion medal by leading our wicket-taking and run-scoring.
He has already made his mark as a coach with a professional approach to all aspects of cricket, and hopes to lead the club to greater success this season.

Peter Brasher

Senior Assistant Coach

Peter has long been affiliated with TLCC, with his sons Dylan and Aidan representing TLCC as juniors before going on to higher honours (Dylan recently signed a rookie contract with the Victorian state team, and Aidan plays for Premier cricket club Footscray).

With over 30 years of experience, we look forward to Peter emparting his significant experience and knowledge with us at TLCC. His role will include working in a range of aspects, including player development.

Nilan Fernando

Batting Assistant Coach

Nilan joins us after several seasons at Sunshine based VTCA club Grand United. After winning a premiership in 2022/23, and back-to-back seasons of scoring over 600 runs (622 @ 47.85 and 601 @ 66.8), Nilan wished to challenge himself further and so decided to join us.

As a part of his tenure with us, Nilan agreed to offer his ample knowledge and skill as a batting coach, and will be accessible to all players who wish to tighten up their technique and take their batting to the next level.
